Abstract

Three treatments were compared using a complete randomized block design with 12 replications per treatment and 20 ckicks per replication. The birds were fed from birth to 62 days of age with the following experimental rations: C €” basal ration; B €” basal ration plus 1.5kg of New-TM per ton. and A €” basal ration plus 1.0kg of TM per ton. The New-TM is a subproduct obtained during the production of TM. The treatments did not differ statistically for the studied parameters (liveweight gain, intake, feed conversion). The lack of effect of the antibiotic tested could be explained by the excellent sanitary and management conditions maintained during the experiment.
