Abstract

This trial was carried at the Estação Experimental Central do Instituto de Zootecnia, at Nova Odessa, State of São Paulo, Brazil, in order to verify the possibility of utilizing dehydrated rabbit waste, at levels of 0, 5, 10 and 15%, in finishing rations for broilers. The treatments did not influence weight gain. The statistical analysis showed significant differences as to sex (P‰¤ 0.01) influenced by the treatments on feed consumption, weight gain and feed conversion. As to feed conversion and feed consumption it was observed a linear effect (P‰¤ 0.01) according to the following equations: conv = 2.40 + 0.022X and Ŷcons = 2.668 + 21 .832X, where Ŷconv = feed conversion, Ŷcons = feed consumption and X = level of rabbit waste in the diet. The treatments did not affect the percentage of mortality.
