Abstract

This essay was carried out at Estação Experimental Central of Instituto de Zootecnia in Nova Odessa, SP, Brazil from July to September, 1980. It was compared four products that affected the rooting and aerial development of cuttings of Leucaena leucocephala, Cajanus cajan, Desmanthlis virgatus and Morus alba submtted to two periods of exposition (24 and 72 hours). The products were two auxins: 1) indolacetic acid €” IAA and 2) iridolbutiric acid €” IBA in three levels 20, 200 and 400ppm, and two commercial: 3) IBA €” based from Rhodia Laboratory in 10, 20 and 30ml per liter of water and 4) vegetal stimulant, tiamin paraminobenzoate €” based from Vitaflor Agroveterinary in 30, 50 and 80 drops per liter of water). Morus alba was the one that showed better results. The others, gave indications of the possibility of using this technique, but further studies must be done to determine the products, levels and times of exposition according to each one.
