Abstract

This experiment was carried out at Instituto de Zootecnia, Nova Odessa-SP, Brazil at 550m of altitude and 22°42€™ Lat S and 47º 18€™ Long W. The local climate presents wet weather in the summer and dry weather in time. (CWa in koeppen€™s classification). The aim was to evaluate ten accessions of Neonotonia wightii Lackey under our environmental conditions in order to release possible new promissing cultivars. After 2,000kg/ha of lime has been applied to the area two levels of fertilization were used A1 - smaller fertilization and A2 = higher fertilization. The data showed that Glycine did respond to fertilization; the most productive accessions were Cooper, No 250, Malawi, Tinaroo, NO 409. The best adapted to low soil fertility was NO 250.
