Abstract

An experiment was conducted in Mundo Novo Farm, in Brotas, SP. The experimental design was in complete randomized blocks (split-plot) with four replicates and 12 treatments. The objective of this research was to study three stockpiling dates (March 10, March 24 and April 07) constituting the main plots and four utilization dates (27 June, 25 July, 25 August and 22 September) on mineral composition and ratio between the nutrients N, P, Ca and S accumulated in forage of Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu in dry season. The results presented here showed that there was coincidence between accumulated nutrients and forage yield but there was lack of N and P and low ratio N/S.
