Abstract

This research was conduced in the Setor de Sericicultura da Faculdade de Ciencias Agrárias e Veterinárias - Campus de Jaboticabal from march of 1986 to april of 1987. The purpose of the experiment was to determine the better type of fertilization in mulberry in 4 consecutive experiments. The following treatments were studied according to a complete randomized design with 6 replication: T1- Control: without fertilization; T2 - Organic fertilization: 2 kg of chicken manure/plant/experiment; T3 - Chemical fertilization in the soil: 20 g of N, 10 g of P2O5 and 15 g of K2O/plant/experiment and T4 - Foliar fertilization: 5 pulverization with a foliar fertilizer (14€”4€”7) at 1%. The data showed better results of the treatments with organic fertilization and chemical fertilization in the soil and minor result of the foliar fertilization in the production and on the level of nutrient in leves.
